SkyDesk — Terms of Service

Entertainment only. SkyDesk is for plane spotting and casual browsing — not for flight planning, navigation, or operational use.
These Terms govern your use of the SkyDesk browser extension for Google Chrome™. By installing or using SkyDesk, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service description
SkyDesk displays live ADS-B aircraft positions and related aviation data as an overlay on web pages. It is an entertainment and hobby tool only — not navigation, flight planning, or operational decision support.
2. License

There is no free tier and no trial period.
3. Billing
- SkyDesk is a one-time $6.99 lifetime purchase via ExtensionPay (Stripe Checkout).
- There are no recurring charges, no free tier, and no free trial.
- Manage your purchase receipt / account via ExtensionPay or Stripe customer portal.
4. Refund policy
Contact skydeskchrome@gmail.com within 14 days of a charge for billing errors or material service issues. Refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer the extension, redistribute its bundled data files, scrape extension data for republication, or abuse third-party ADS-B or map providers.
6. Third-party data
Data comes from community ADS-B sources, OurAirports, OpenStreetMap, FAA public data, RainViewer, Esri, and others. Coverage and accuracy are not guaranteed. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or missing.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
SkyDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or suitability for aviation or navigation purposes.
8. Payments (ExtensionPay and Stripe)
Lifetime purchases are processed by ExtensionPay using Stripe. SkyDesk does not store full card numbers. See ExtensionPay terms and Stripe privacy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of SkyDesk or reliance on displayed data. Total liability is limited to the greater of amounts paid in the prior 12 months or USD $10.

11. Changes
We may update these Terms; the date above will change when we do.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
